Internships

Numerous internship opportunities linked to climate research are offered on an annual basis in IPSL laboratories and in partner organisations.

IPSL-CGS provides between 30 and 40 paid internships for Master’s students in IPSL laboratories.

The internships, which involve both training in climate science research and professional development for engineers and research professions (communication, project management), are also open to multidisciplinarity, with internships proposed between climate sciences and social and human sciences this year.

The diversity of subjects offered by our laboratories and research themes, as well as our research support services (Communication, administrative management, scientific mediation, Climate-Society Centre) means that we can recruit students for all our Masters courses, as well as engineering schools, grandes écoles and universities throughout France and abroad.

In 2025, of the 40 students funded by the Climate Graduate School, 10% will be international students enrolled in foreign institutions, 60% will be CGS masters students, 20% will come from grandes écoles (Agro-Paris-Tech, ENS-Lyon, ENS Paris, etc.) and 10% from French universities.

25% of our trainees are accepted for theses, either in the SEIF ED (ED129) or in the CGS partner doctoral schools (SMEMAG, GRNE) or other EDs across France (ED STEP in Grenoble, etc.).

Our internship and student recruitment platform offers a range of archived and upcoming offers for students. Discover the diversity of subjects, professions and opportunities on the CGS internship platform!
