“Prédoc” programme has the form of a part-time contract that usually starts on the first of October. With the help of a tutor appointed by the EUR IPSL CGS training committee and in agreement with their thesis supervisor, the selected student establish a personalized programme that enables them, for example, to:

• Prepare their upcoming thesis work to come through adhering necessary additional training courses, starting a bibliography and attending conferences or workshops.
• Tutor M1 or M2 students.
• Take part in meetings organized by the EUR IPSL-CGS, with other future doctoral students and with the academic tutor.
• Produce an activity report at the end of the contract (template provided)
• Possibly finalise the M2 internship work (publication for example).
