The Prédoc programme is a three-month part-time contract (starting 1st October) designed for M2 students accepted into a PhD at an IPSL laboratory. It enables a smooth transition into doctoral research by allowing students to prepare their thesis work, attend training, mentor Master’s students, and finalise previous research under the guidance of an appointed tutor.

Yes. Since 2023, the IPSL Climate Graduate School (EUR IPSL-CGS) has awarded two annual mobility grants to support Master’s students (M1 and M2) in Climate and Environmental Sciences who wish to undertake internships abroad.

These grants aim to promote international openness by funding projects aligned with the school’s research themes. Successful candidates receive €500 per month to cover living and travel expenses.

Yes, absolutely. The IPSL Climate Graduate School welcomes internship applications from a wide range of candidates, regardless of their home university or nationality.

We accept applications from students enrolled in Licence 3 (L3), Master 1 (M1), or Master 2 (M2) programmes, as well as those undertaking a gap year (année de césure).

Whether you are studying at a French institution outside the IPSL network or at a university abroad, you are encouraged to apply if your project aligns with our research themes in climate and environmental sciences. Our laboratories are highly international and accustomed to hosting students from diverse backgrounds.
